An instructor from Robotics Manitoba will be instructing students on how to build their own robot. Students need to have their robot design ready for Friday . Many of the materials will be supplied such as motors, base, batteries, etc. Students have already assembled their own remote.
Students will test their robots in a variety of competitions against their peers.

Students are currently making a booklet/scroll/poster/scrapbook of Ancient Greece.
We will be using history "Ancient Greece" to increase vocabulary , enhance creative writing and build critical thinking skills. Mythology will be used as a vehicle to decipher difficult text.
Spelling City will be used for weekly vocabulary and spelling words from the novel "I Am David" and stories based on ancient Greek mythology.

I Am David
We will be reading a novel called I Am David which details the life of a twelve year old boy in a 1950's USSR conentration camp. The focus of the novel will be mood and emotions.
